WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
This is for You, the soulful and sensitive human, who desires to develop a loving and supportive relationship with yourself. You who want to build a relationship from the ground up - body first. You who long to have an intimate and honest relationship with your body, emotions, thoughts, needs and dreams. You who wants to soften in your relationship with yourself.
This course is also suitable for you who work with sensitive humans. As a yoga teacher, life coach, or holistic practitioner. You who want to learn new ways, and deepen your understanding of, how to support yourself and your students and clients.
WHAT IS THIS COURSE?
This is an online course that focuses on self-study and self-relating. During our sessions we will use both cognitive tools, somatic practices, meditation, movement, and journaling for you to discover, explore, and experience what it means to be in a supportive relationship with yourself. You will also receive explorative and integration practices to use on your own in between sessions.

We don’t exactly live in a culture that models and teaches us how to have a supportive and compassionate relationship with ourselves. Or how to live in alignment with our Higher Self, and our purpose in life.
Quite the opposite.
From an early age many of us are taught how to suppress our emotions, taught that our dreams are childish, taught that there is a certain way that life should be lived and that there are very few other options.
We learn to question, and even dismiss, our own experience and listen more to authority figures than to our own bodies and our own internal prompting.
Our more wild and animalistic side is frowned upon, and we might go to great length to hide or even erase our animal nature. And in the process we lose touch with our alive and intelligent body.
Our bodies become an object. We become an object.
Something that has to be controlled and managed, rather than something to be honored and trusted.
And in the process our dreams and desires, our uniqueness and our love for ourselves gets washed away, especially if it doesn’t fit the narrow narrative of the current culture.

Supportive Foundation - My own story
It took me a long time to feel safe enough to express, even to myself, that I didn’t feel safe in my own body.
It felt unsafe to admit it, so instead I braced myself against life.
I pushed myself way beyond my own capacity and I was constantly trying to meet the needs of my environment to keep it safe.
To be honest, I was afraid of my own internal world.
It felt unpredictable and unreliable.
I often felt overwhelmed by life and it felt like my energy slipped through my fingers, leaving me constantly depleted and grasping for more.
No matter how little I did, how much I rested, how much I tried to recharge myself, how much I tried to see the positive side of life, there was never enough energy to take me through the day.
It was only when I realized that I didn’t feel safe in my own body, when I realized that I was using my energy to try to control my environment, that the overwhelm and the feeling of never having enough energy started to change.
I surrender in the arms of the Great Mother, I allowed her to hold me, and love me.
I began to use my attention and awareness to meet the tender, the afraid, the let down parts of myself and in doing so began to release the life energy that they held locked up inside of me.
To feel safe in your own body is what allows you to use your resources, your energy, in a beneficial way.
When you feel safe in your own body you can access the life force energy that flows in abundance through all of us.
This is the supportive foundation for a thriving life.

Week 1
Open to receive the loving energy of the Great Mother
The Great Mother energy is a neutral territory. It is the loving, holding, supportive place, and space, that is accessible to all of us. When we lose touch with this energy we easily get lost in demands and expectations of modern society. Demands and expectations that make us feel inadequate, unworthy, or not enough. Great Mother helps us land in the here and now. Shows us what it feels like to be safe, held, heard, loved and worthy.
The Great Mother gives you the experience of being mothered, so that you can begin to mother yourself. We all have had, or have, a mother, but to be mothered is not the same as having a mother. A father can mother, a mother can mother, a friend can mother. Anyone can Mother. To mother is not something only a mother can do, it is not gender or role bound. But we all need to feel mothered in order to feel safe to be ourselves, worthy, enough, loved, held. It is through mothering that we begin to build that supportive foundation for compassionate and loving self-relating.
Week 2
Touch ground, connect to space and grow roots.
A supportive foundation is not only about connecting to your own body, it is also about experiencing a connection to earth, to space and to the reciprocal relationship that happens between you, your body, and earth body and space body. There are energetic roots that can grow from your body to earths body, and the space around you is yours to embody. To connect to space is also about learning how take up, more, space. Space to be, to move, to feel, to expand into and be held by in moments of contraction.
A supportive self-relationship is not about being unattached and completely self-sufficient. It is more about learning how to lean into the support that is already here, to ask for help when you need. It is to practice to be open and embrace the vulnerability that arises in interdependent relating.
Week 3
Rehabilitate your inner animal, your relationship to your instincts and intuition.
It so easy to forget that we are human animals. We are born living fully from our animal nature, our wild nature, but slowly over time we become domesticated and lose touch with our animal instincts, and our animal body. And in doing so we also lose touch with our intuition. Because intuitive signals are communicated through your body. When you begin to rehabilitate your inner animal, you will open up to a deeper relationship and ability to listen to both your instincts and your intuition. That which helps you move through life in close connection to your needs and desires.
Week 4
Become an ally to the marginalized voices inside of you.
This has been one of the most transforming realizations for me, that I can be an ally to the voices, the parts, inside of me that often gets silenced or scolded or ridiculed by modern society. Marginalized voices can be voices of fear, or of not feeling enough. It can be parts that feel victimized, or parts that wants to be more playful and carefree in life. They are often hidden behind a veil of shame, of being too much or not enough. To become an ally to these parts, voices, is to meet them through the lens of animism. To see that every part has spirit, every part is a living entity and have wisdom to share.
Week 5
Move forward by taking a step back.
When you take a step back before moving forward in life, you give yourself the opportunity to gain clarity and learn how to sense your own readiness. It gives you time to orient to where you are and reconnect with yourself. In modern society we are often pushed to move forward, to grow, to move faster. But sustainable and supportive healing and growth, and sustainable relating, often happens when we take a step back, slow down and reflect. Be before we become again.

Since 2010 Linda Nenne has guided, supported and helped women rediscover a deep and loving relationship to their physical body, psyche, inner parts, emotional body and to feel at home in themselves. She has supported them to gain clarity and self-awareness in who they are, what they want and how to live a life aligned with their inner purpose.

Do I have to take all of the courses in the Nurture series or can I sign up for only one of them?
No, you do not have to take all courses. They do build on each other AND you might not feel that all of them resonate with you, so you are welcomed to join as many or as few as you like. I will offer these courses again in 2024, so you have the chance to go slow.
What if I can’t come to one of the live sessions?
I will record all sessions, but edit out any personal sharings from participants. I do recommend to attend live if possible, but you can also join via recording. Everyone who signs up for the course will get access to recordings.
These courses sounds very deep and it contains a lot - what if I get overwhelmed by all of it?
When reading through this page it is indeed a lot of information! Do remember that we will only explore one part at a time and your journey is unique to you. You will get resources along the way that will support you to get the most out of this journey without being overwhelmed by it. And I am here with you as support. I can assure you that the pace these courses are designed for us sensitives. Every part will be dropped in like a small homeopathic droplet.
What is your cancellation policy?
This is the cancellation policy that I’ve created that I think give you flexibility in case you want to cancel after you’ve signed up.
* All online courses are paid in full upon sign up.
* You have the right to cancel and get a full refund, minus transaction fees, if you cancel at least 24 hours prior to the first session.
* If you cancel after the beginning of the course there will be no refund.
Will you offer these courses in Swedish?
No. At the moment I will only offer these courses in English, but if there is a large number of requests for courses in Swedish I might offer them in Swedish in the future.
What is somatics?
The word somatics come from the Greek word Soma, which means body. So simply put, somatic practices are practices that emphasize internal physical perception and experiences. As opposed to cognitive practices that emphasize mental explorations, mental performance and skills.
”Somatics is the field which studies the soma: namely, the body as perceived from within by first-person perception.” - Thomas Hanna
Another way to explain somatic is that it is your primal, your first, language. Before you even knew that there are words to describe something, or to communicate with, you had felt sense experience of who you are, what you need, how you feel, what you want to say ‘no’ to and what you want to say ‘yes’ to, what you are curious about and what is not interesting to you. It is in the soma, the body, that all of you is experienced. Even your mental perception, your thoughts, emerges from the body.
In our sessions we will use both cognitive tools and somatic practices to discover, explore, experience the wholeness of who and what you are. Somatic awareness is an important part of self-relating, it is to develop the ability to relate to your body and your subconscious as an autonomous and intelligent entity.
Will this program help me get in touch with my emotions?
Yes, to the extent that you, in your wholeness, feel willing, able and ready. What comes up during the sessions will be different for each and every participant on this journey. We will work deeply with the body and with what is alive in your internal landscape. That means that we will meet emotions as they arise, but we will not go digging for things to come up. If these “things”, such as memories or emotions, are not ready to be felt and experienced we will honor that.
I am currently taking antidepressants, can I still join the program?
Yes, I don’t see that taking antidepressants would be a hindrance or have a negative effect on your participation. I have worked with clients before who have been taking antidepressants whilst working with me and I, or the clients, haven’t experienced any issues with that.
With that said I do find that it is important that you continue to have an open dialog with your doctor around your medication during the course of this program. Your doctor is the one who is qualified to speak to and have knowledge around your medication plan.
